2026 Greens project
We want to thank you for your patience and support as we address the current condition of the greens on our golf course. As many of you are aware, several factors have contributed to the turf loss we are experiencing, including extreme winter temperatures — despite protective measures taken to cover the greens as well as damage caused by microscopic soil pests known as nematodes.
After careful evaluation, we have determined that immediate action is necessary to restore the quality and consistency of our playing surfaces.
Effective immediately, the front nine holes will transition to temporary greens while we begin a full renovation process. This work will include stripping the existing turf, preparing a new planting mix, and sprigging the greens with new TifEagle 3D Bermuda grass. Once planted, the grow-in process is expected to take approximately 10 weeks, with our goal of reopening the renovated greens in early August.
The back nine greens will remain open for play throughout the season, with repairs being made to the most affected areas as conditions allow. We hope this will continue to provide members with an enjoyable traditional golf experience during the renovation period.
This resurfacing project is an important investment in the long-term quality of our golf course. While temporary greens are in use, cart fees will be reduced, and we will also introduce a variety of fun 9-hole events, short-course formats, and social activities to ensure members and families can continue enjoying time together at the club.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support, understanding, and patience as we work through these improvements. Our team is committed to restoring the greens to a condition that you can enjoy for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming you back to full play later this summer.
